ACEEE Journals - Special Issue

If you are planning a conference, there is a possibility of publication of extended papers from the presented and selected papers in the ACEEE Journals in a Special Issue category.

All ACEEE Journals are open access journal publications and the papers published are likely to be highly used. An ACEEE Journals is the best way for authors to reach their intended audiences - as a Conference organizer, you also get maximum publicity, worldwide, for your Conference.

Special Issue Proposal

Proposals to launch new special issue (for the publication of extended papers from the presented and selected papers of the conference) should be submitted by the Guest Editor(s) (Publication Chair or General Chair or anyone who is authorized) of the conference to journal.admin @ and should include the following:

A suggested title for the Special Issue.

Proposed Aims and Scope, giving an overview of the Special Issue's intended focus and a list of the topics to be covered.

A list of the Guest Editors including their names, emails, affiliations, and a short biography (one paragraph) of each of the Guest Editors. If the guest editors belong to the editorial board, please skip this process.

A proposed time-line and schedule which includes the date of Submission of

  • List of selected papers
  • CRPs to be published in the Journals
  • Copyright to the Journals

Editing a Successful Special Issue

Once a proposal has been approved by the Editorial Office, it is the responsibility of the Guest Editor(s) to deliver the soft copy of entire issue to ACEEE journals within the agreed time-scale. Guest Editor(s) may encourage authors to substantially expand and extend the research work, to upgrade and include more concrete proposed system and results & discussion; before a final extended camera ready paper is submitted for the Journal. This will help to maintain the quality of the Journal as well as the paper. Guest Editors must organize a double-blind reviewing process for all papers submitted for inclusion in the special issue, so as to:

  • Ensure the quality of those papers to be finally included in the special issue
  • Strengthen these papers, so as to ensure the highest possible standards for the issue

Submission Proposal (Special Issue)

The editors of the journal require copies of all correspondence between reviewers and Guest Editors at the time that the completed draft of the special issue is submitted to ACEEE journal. Guest Editors should keep the Editorial Office informed by e-mail of progress in preparing the special issue and in particular alert them in advance if agreed deadlines are likely to slip. Send your proposals to journals @

Final Selection

Once the final selection of papers has been made and final CRC (Camera-Ready Copy) versions (as per ACEEE format guidelines) of all the accepted papers are received, the Guest Editors should submit the papers to the ACEEE Editorial Office.

The ACEEE Editorial Office will then check the quality of the papers and issue with the help of ACEEE Quality Audit teams before forwarding it for publication. The Editorial Office reserve the right to request a third review of papers and, if necessary, request modifications of a paper (or the whole issue) before approving it for publication. However, the procedures set out above are designed to minimize the need for such measures.
